We collect information you provide directly when completing an intake questionnaire, creating an account, or contacting us. This includes personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, and the estate planning information you provide in the intake process. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information.
We use your information to provide the Posterity platform services, generate attorney-ready intake summaries, communicate with you about your account, improve our platform, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your intake information is shared exclusively with your designated attorney. Posterity staff do not access client intake content. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for platform improvement purposes. We may disclose information when required by law.
We use enterprise-grade security measures including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. All access to client data is logged and audited. We conduct regular security assessments and maintain strict access controls.
Client intake data is retained for the duration of the attorney-client relationship plus 7 years, in compliance with Tennessee Bar Association record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
